Digging Through the Archives: Part 3 (South Carolina)

March 2004, before this blog was even in existence, Kellie and I got to travel to South Carolina to do some hands-on research for National Scenic Byways Online. It was hard work. We had to go to all these cool gardens and drive around and take pictures and get paid for it. Man, work sucks sometimes. Most of these pictures can be found on the byways website, along with many, many more. But for the real byways fan, this blog offers something more - a few looks behind the scene. Anyway, there are lots of pictures for this set, so I'm gonna continue it on so it doesn't take up the whole front page. But here are just a few to get you started.

The sad thing about these pictures is that some of them are probably the prettiest pictures I have ever taken, but I had just barely gotten my digital camera, and I didn't realize that I had to change the pixel size, so these are .3 pixels. Yep, they're pretty much full size on the screen. I'm so mad at myself about that. Oh well. I guess I'll just have to go back sometime.
